"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." (Matthew 5: 7).

Mercy is that outward appearance of love to the neighbor, an identification with the one in distress, the intense love of love, starting from a heart that suffers for those who, at one moment or another, are in trouble.
This feeling has its source in the love of God, which can not be conceived without the love of one's neighbor: "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?" (I John 3:17), charity is the concrete manifestation of love, the knowledge of God in concrete circumstances of life, and" the one who does not love did not know God, because God is love. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"(1 John 4: 8; 20).

The children in our mission are taught by the infant to have mercy and love the neighbor. For a little while, they donate one coin for the mission expenses, being so trained with mercy. They are aware that only being merciful, God will reward their love with other goodies.
They do not know much about God, but their love for the other brothers and sisters in the mission is burning.

In the context of the above, please all those who read these written lines and who have the opportunity to donate a small coin to these poor children, do not hesitate to make you loved by Christ! God will reward you in earnest! Let's be merciful and loving the poor man! The poor are a blessing for the rich! If those who have money and fortune do not think of the poor, then they are living in vain on this earth! After death, they will have what they have shown in this life! Lack of God's mercy towards their souls!
Brothers and sisters in Christ, help me take care of these children, and the mercy of the Lord will descend upon you! Donate a few dollars to financially support this social-philanthropic mission!
You can easily make donations from your salary or retirement card via PayPal directly from our website: www.stireneorthodoxmission.org

Be with us in our afflictions, and the Lord will bless you with his rich gifts!
Children await your gifts with interest!
Do not disappoint them!
They trust you, that you will help them in need!

One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, And He will repay him for his good deed.

Dear friends, here is a photo of children who have managed to find a couple of eggs from the free range hens that live at St Irene's Mission Kenya and help to supply some of the food for the orphanage. Apart from thirty orphans that are fully dependent on Fr Constantinos and his team, there are another 90 children who also receive education, accommodation and care as they are vulnerable and their parents are unable to provide for them for a variety of reasons.

As you can see Kenyan winters are cold and from this photo and others that I have shown, you can see that the children are quite healthy and happy looking, well dressed and well loved. In order for this to continue Fr Constantinos requires regular donations towards Saint Irene's Mission as he receives no government funding or other formal financial support. Much of his time is involved in sourcing donations to feed these children and dealing with the stressors associated not only of the responsibility of their ongoing physical and spiritual care but also of the consequences of living in this constant state of poverty. Fr Constantinos has visions also of buying a couple of acres of land and erecting some purpose built dwellings one day as they are currently renting very rudimentary premises, however the immediate needs are always more pressing

Thank you very much to those who have donated and perhaps some may consider making small donations on a regular basis. It's the small steps that we continue to make on a steady basis that often enable us to reach our destinations. Perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing this fundraiser with your friends on FB.
No donation is too small and much appreciated.

Proverbs 19:17 One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, And He will repay him for his good deed.

Good deeds will always follow you for the rest of your life
Live many years
Looking forward for your help.

Greetings from Yours in Christ
